Over 50 years on Dekalb Pike
We're locally owned and operated, and we've been serving Blue Bell and the rest of Montco for over 50 years. Same shop, same kind of steak sandwich you remember.
Who Pudge was
The name came from our original owner, Frank Carbone. As a kid he was nicknamed Pudge, after the dog in the Betty Boop comic strip.
Passing it on
Frank passed away in 2000. His daughter took over the shop.
What goes in the sandwich
We cook our own roast beef and pork, and we make our own meatballs. Our lunch meats are Dietz & Watson premium grade, and the steak is the best we can buy.
Awards, and who stops in
We're a Best of Philly winner, and we've been named Best Cheesesteak in Montgomery County. Celebrities come through and call us their favorite cheesesteak.
